School Bus
Transport for pupils or students of schools and educational institutions.
Employee Bus
Transporting the operator’s own employees or employees of industries contracted with the operator.
Feeder Bus
Feeder services on routes requiring the service, subject to approval.
Taxi
Metered passenger services; airport taxis may use coupon tickets.
Hire Car
Passengers pay separately for a journey; capacity is up to 6 persons, or 12 in permitted areas, including the driver.
Hire-and-Drive Car
A vehicle hired to be driven by the hirer or their nominee.
Carrier A — Container
Prime movers and container semi-trailers carrying goods for hire or reward in Sarawak.
Carrier A — Non-container
Carrying other parties’ goods for hire or reward.
Carrier C
Carrying own goods in connection with the business; carrying other parties’ goods, whether free or for reward, is not permitted.
Carrier A — Sabah Vehicles Entering Sarawak
Permission for Sabah Carrier A licence holders to transport goods into Sarawak under a contract.
E-hailing / EVP
Driver registration and vehicle permits are handled through e-hailing companies (EHOs) holding an LPKP Sarawak permit.
