About SBST and BAS.MY

The Stage Bus Service Transformation programme (SBST) is a Federal Government initiative through Malaysia’s Ministry of Transport to improve the sustainability and reliability of bus services and encourage public transport use. BAS.MY continues the service previously known as myBAS, with its distinctive pink identity.

For eligible passengers including JKM-registered persons with disabilities, senior citizens aged 60 and above, school pupils and higher education students. An extension to Form 6 students and government training institute trainees in Kuching was announced in May 2026.
